Job Description
The Role:
The Warehouse and Depot Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse and depot facilities. Reporting to the QLD General Manager, this role ensures inventory is managed accurately, orders are fulfilled on time, stock is received and dispatched efficiently, and workplace safety standards are upheld.
In this role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.
Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor and update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics for depot operations, including uniform orders, consumables, and support depot operations.
Coordinate the allocation of vehicles and fuel cards in compliance with company policies, and ensure forklifts, plant and machinery are well maintained and serviced.
Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
Solid experience working autonomously in a warehouse/logistics role
Be proficient in MS Office products, and working knowledge of MYOB Exo
Self-motivated and proactive in identifying tasks and taking initiative
Current forklift and driver's licence
Proactive mindset and strong critical thinking abilities to enhance and streamline processes
Capable of meeting the physical demands required for warehouse operations
